The Control Wrap is an advanced elastic bandage engineered for stability and ease of use under stress, featuring integrated brakes that enhance grip, control, and pressure retention during wound dressing.

  • Integrated “Brake” System: Prevents accidental unrolling during application, ensuring secure and controlled bandaging in high-stress conditions.
  • Enhanced Grip and Stability: "Brakes" create friction points that maintain consistent tension and position throughout the wrap.
  • Optimized for Complex Applications: Provides superior handling when wrapping awkward or angled injuries.
  • Contamination Risk Reduction: Helps maintain bandage cleanliness by preventing premature unrolling or contact with non-sterile surfaces.
  • Minimized Material Waste: Reduces loss of supplies and time by maintaining an organized, controlled application.
  • Reliable Pressure Retention: Prevents shifting of material, ensuring sustained compression and effective wound management.

Tactical Medical Solutions® designed the Control Wrap to make life a little easier when under stress. Just as in our OLAES® and BLAST® Bandages, we incorporate a series of brakes into each elastic bandage. These brakes prevent accidental un-rolling during application. The brakes also provide grip surfaces during the wrapping process and assist in maintaining the desired pressure and position of the bandage. This is extremely helpful when changing angles during the wrapping process or if bandaging awkward injuries. By reducing the risk of accidental unrolling of the bandage, you minimize the following risks:

  • Contaminating a clean bandage
  • Waste of a bandage due to contamination
  • Lost time while managing loose ends
  • Loss of pressure after applying the bandage due to shifting of material
